Home is Where One Starts... is a short, first-person exploration game in the same vein as Dear Esther or Gone Home. It’s an experience where every object has been carefully placed to tell a poignant story—a story about childhood, hope, and the miracle of memory. You play as a little girl from a broken home somewhere in the American South. Exploring the lonely countryside reveals clues and vignettes which help the player answer the question of where home is—and how one can get there.

Инструкция для активации:
1. Если у вас еще нет клиента Steam, скачайте его (http://steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi) и зарегистрируйте аккаунт.
2. Войдите под своим аккаунтом на сайт Steam по адресу https://store.steampowered.com/login/
3. Откройте полученную после оплаты ссылку (перейдите по ней)
4. Откроется сайт Steam с сообщением "Вам прислали игру в подарок". Нажмите "принять игру" и "добавить игру в библиотеку".
Не выбирайте "добавить игру в инвентарь" если у вас новый (пустой) аккаунт, так как новые аккаунты испытывают сложности с инвентарем подарков стим.
5. Игра должна появиться в списке ваших игр в стим-клиенте, и ее можно будет скачать.
